Long Boards

If there was an alternate name for this surf store it would be the longboard shop. Our epic range of longboards can cater to the absolute beginner right through to those wanting to compete in the longboard surf series. Our constructions include the traditional PU right up to the tuflites dubbed the "unbreakables". Whether it is a straight line log or a performance nose rider our ranges from CJ Nelson, Guy Takayama,  Donald Takayama, Harley Ingleby, Ben Skinner, Walden, Creative Army, Channel Islands, Admiral, NSP, and Torq we have the right longboard for you!

  • Walden Magic Wahine Fusion HD - 8'0"

Walden Surfboards was the first company to design an entire line of surfboards just for women called Walden Wahine, they didn't just add a token pink surfboard to the existing men's line but rather they created an entire range of surfboards for the full range of women surfers. We slimmed out the dimensions and made a slightly narrower Magic Model, we kept all the performance but sized the boards especially for women...oh yeah, and made them really beautiful.

    About out Magic Model:

The Magic Model is the original modern longboard, an all around performance surfboard and nose rider. The Magic Model is designed for all wave heights and all skill levels, just as fun in small surf as it is in big surf.  The Magic Model hull has a unique design, so unique it has a patent. Starting at the nose the hull has a single concave that transitions into a double concave about midway through the board and ends towards the tail forming a moderate “V” for fluid rail to rail transitions. The Magic Model rails have a hard edge from nose to tail, unlike round railed boards which push through water and allow water to wrap around the board slowing it down,  the Magic's hard rails glide on top the water creating a sensitivity and quickness that makes the board fast and easy to turn. What this all means...the concave at the nose adds lift and stability, perfect for nose riding. The double con-caved hull and hard rails make the board fast, stable, responsive and maneuverable in all conditions.

  • Roger Hinds Renaissance Tuflite V-Tech - 9'4"

    Surftech

Experience the best of the past with the top design elements of the present, experience “the Renaissance.” “Renaissance” is a French word for “rebirth”, or a new interest in something that has not been popular for a long time. Reaching back through the natural progression of his surfboard designs from his early years to the present, Roger Hinds has brought the best elements of each era forward with the Renaissance Model.

The Renaissance model revisits and revises the top longboard plan shape from the 1960’s; the height of the longboard era, and combines it with modern rocker, rail, and foil design elements to bring it into the present. The modern pulled down rail allows for smooth and easy rail to rail transitions. The advanced fine foil increases the speed and the glide which makes for fast clean surfing. The result is a one board longboard quiver. Pairing the right fin can greatly alter the performance of a surfboard. Roger has spent years perfecting finding testing fins shapes and sizes .
