Creative Army Jive+ Slx
The Jive+ is derived from the original performance based Jive model. It’s still a sleek-lined trimming machine, and by all accounts should be considered a responsive longboard. With the updated additions we’ve taken many of the original Jive features and added a tad more volume for broader usability.
OUTLINE: The sleek outline has a slightly pulled in tail for better drive and acceleration from the taken off, and tighter arching turns on the face. The slightly straighter outline forward of centre increases the width up front to create that speed and long nose riding capabilities.
ROCKER: With an emphasis on being an “All Rounder”, the Jive+ has a medium rocker with a flat panel through the mid section. This makes the board paddle with ease and flow through those dead sections with minimal effort. A slight lift in the nose makes late take-offs easier and also helps with extended nose riding. The slight increase in tail curve gives opportunity for tighter arcs when jamming harder off your back foot.
CONTOURS: Subtle yet effective, the slight concave in the nose creates lift while hanging those toes over. Its flatter midsection creates speed and trim stability, and the subtle rolled vee through the back half makes for silky smooth rail-to-rail transitions.
PERFORMANCE: An ‘All-Rounder’ that’s very user friendly and accomodating to a range of demographics. The Jive+ paddles amazing, trims with a bunch of speed, and will turn whenever and wherever you want it to go. With its improvements in the front half, we’ve made it really enjoyable to ride up front, yet still super responsive when banking a nice turn. From flat to double overhead, this is one of the funnest longboards your ever ride. Enjoy!

SLX Epoxy ConstructionSLX construction produces a controlled flex pattern by combining the versatility of epoxy materials with the added advantage of reduced weight. All SLX boards have an EPS core with a high-grade timber stringer, which is laminated by hand using epoxy resign, biaxial fiberglass and a specialized construction process.Featuring a high strength-to-weigh ratio, and designs CNC milled directly from the shapers files. Modern longboarding has a variety of skill and style that is hard to compare in any other sport. Depending on the surfer, or the wave, or the board, it can be a dance or a martial art. It can be light footed poise or powerful drive, straight line trim or vertical snaps, nose rides or carves. A true modern high performance longboard has to be capable of all of these things.
The Don is stable on the nose, straight and fast through the middle and lively in the tail. The Don XL is higher volumed version of the Don for heavier surfers, slightly more nose oriented to enable more stable nose riding, but still super responsive in the tail. The added advantage of the Torq TEC construction; lightweight, strong and super responsive makes the wide repertoire of moves easier and more dynamic.

For lengths of 8'6 and over we have introduced a T-stringer and carbon stringer to the deck and bottom for a new level of torsional strength. The torq longboard technology is incredibly strong, light and responsive.

We slimmed out the dimensions and made a slightly narrower Magic Model, we kept all the performance but sized the boards especially for women...oh yeah, and made them really beautiful.

Alain Minvielle has extensive shaping experience in California and a fine appreciation for the flow and glide of the classic style. With Edouard’s input they have created a Classic shape inspired by the classic 60’s model of Longboarding (no edge) while adding some more modern bottom line to find the perfect cruiser with surprising manœuvrability.
The critical part of this design is in the rocker and volume distribution - the curve of the rocker will allow you to maintain noserides in the pocket while gliding in small conditions as much as in larger waves. Finally the unique distribution of volume through the board, from a thick nose to a thin tail, will allow you to cross step with grace and turn with ease.

This is the model Edouard won his 2019 Surf Relik World longboard title on.
Edouard and Alain worked on that shape to find the perfect balance of modern and classic surfing on a Longboard.The aggressive outline and rocker will allow you to manœuvre the board at your highest potential while the lift will allow you to hold noserides in critical sections of the waves.
This model took Edouard on top of the 2019 Relik World Longboard Tour, 4 WSL European titles and a win at the WSL Cuervo surf Ranch Classic in 2021 with smooth progressive lines and critical noserides.
