The Jive Longboard, is a sleek lined trimming machine. Its 2+1 fin set up gives you lots of drive, while its slightly rolled Vee bottom through the back half keeps those turns really smooth through rail to rail transitions, its flatter midsection rocker gives you plenty of trimming speed and the slight nose rocker makes for easy nose riding!
OUTLINE: This sleek outline has a slightly pulled in tail for drive and acceleration in turns and its subtle pulled in nose helps with tighter arching turns without catching in those steeper sections of the wave.
ROCKER: With emphasis on being an all rounder the Jive has a medium rocker with a flat panel through the mid section which makes this board paddle with ease and flows through those dead sections with minimal effort. A slight lift in the nose makes those late take offs easier and also helps with lift while nose riding, while the slight lift in the tail makes for nice drive and tight arc through your turns.
CONTOURS: Subtle yet effective, the slight concave in the nose creates lift while hanging those toes over. Its flatter midsection creates speed and trim and the slightly rolled vee through the back half makes for ease of rail to rail transitions.

Technology Polyester – PU Construction
Polyester or PU construction uses traditional materials and laminating techniques to produce a strong, reliable surfboard with high quality finishes. All polyester boards are CNC milled from the shapers files and laminated by hand using quality components such as Hexcel fiberglass, Silmar resin and Bennett foam.
For years traditional polyester boards have been at the forefront of performance surfing. These boards feature a progressive flex pattern controlled by a high-grade timber stringer and feel very reliable under your feet. Polyester construction will perform in all surf conditions and can be adapted to suit a wide variety of surfboard models.

Through the middle is a straight template and flatter rocker. Effortless paddling and glide for early wave catching and trim. Up at the front is a wide longboard nose with a single concave underneath, a soft rail and medium entry rocker. It’s a combination made for solid, stable nose rides in addition to easy carving.
In the back 3rd, the template narrows into a pulled in round tail with a double concave vee in the bottom and a medium tail flip. Designed for maneuverability, this tail allows the board to come hard off the bottom into the lip or carve a long arc back into the pocket.

For 2017 Walden is introducing the Mega Magic 2, a new updated version of the Mega Magic… The Mega Magic has become one of best selling Walden surfboard designs ever, it shares the design aspects of the Magic Model but with added volume. This board has become so popular because its increased volume allows a rider to move to a shorter board while maintaining stability and float, yet it still manoeuvres with all the performance of the Original Magic Model.
Volume is taken from the length and redistributed to the width and thickness which provides excellent float and stability while still maintaining the famous Magic Model performance. The Mega is about 1/2-1″ thicker and 1-2″ wider than a standard Magic Model. The Mega Magic will float like a board that is 12-18″ longer. For the bigger guy that normally rides a 10’0, with the Mega he can ride a 9’0 without giving up float or stability.
The Mega Magic 2 nose has been slightly pulled in – still excellent for nose riding, but the narrower nose will also perform better for more top to bottom riding. Walden took out the step rails for a smoother transition from deck to rail creating a thinner rail for more sensitivity, feel and control.
Introduced FCSII fin boxes to the whole line up, snap in fins allow more versatility of fin selection on the fly.
