The Fluid range combines lightweight materials and style for versatile wetsuits. The Fluid wetsuit is made with Eicoprene, a non-petroleum-based synthetic foam made from a mixture of limestone (70%) and recycled tires (30%). The lamination process to paste the recycled polyester lining uses Aqua-A™ water-based glue, which is solvent-free and contains no harmful chemicals. The 3/2 Front Zip is designed for cooler waters (57-66 °F). It stands out thanks to front and back mesh panels where needed for maximum wind protection to ride the biggest waves in whatever conditions. It also features triple glued, blind-stitched seams (GBS) added to the drain holes for maximum flexibility and minimal water entry. The pull-over watertight neck seal provides maximum warmth. Dope dyed yarn - To save tremendous amounts of water whilst also reducing energy consumption and water pollution, O’Neill use a dope dyeing process that infuses colour pigment into the fibre filaments before being spun into yarn
Limestone neoprene - O’Neill have used limestone since 1996 to replace petrochemicals in neoprene. Limestone comes from nature and has less environmental impact.
Aqua Alpha Solvent Free Lamination - O’Neill worked with key a manufacturing partner to develop a non-solvent based lamination glue called Aqua-Alpha which bonds the wetsuit’s lining to the internal foam layer
