  • The volume in the Jalapeno is distributed to encourage paddle power yet stay agile off the tail with a refined rounded pin.

Designed as a versatile all round performance model the Jalapeno has a single to double concave with a slight vee in the tail allowing for speed control and release during high speed rail turns.

The Jalapeno is a great option for the one board surfer looking for a model that can be surfed in just about any conditions from 2 to 3 feet beach breaks to over head hollow waves. The extra width through the nose and slightly reduced entry rocker makes the Jalapeno easy to paddle and fast from the take off.

The versatile 5 fin setup adds to its diversity and allows surfing in hollow, barreling waves.

  • ALOHA

“The Black dot is a super versatile small wave performance board. It is fast, easy to surf, paddles well and can be ridden with a performance approach in a huge range of conditions.

It has a single through to double concave with a whisker of vee of the rear fin, making it fast off the mark and loose in the pocket and can be pushed hard off the corners of the swallowtail through turns. The relaxed entry rocker aids in paddling and drive with the more generous tail rocker allowing fast, sharp turns and carves.

The outline and foam distribution is balanced and gives the appearance of a performance swallow tail shortboard that has been compressed,  widened and flattened slightly. Ride one at your normal volume, or a tiny bit over and feel the benefits to your surfing this little gem provides.”

  • “Short, wide, fast and fun the Aloha Black Bean has a short rail line that fits perfectly into the smallest pocket. The small curvy outline helps in the weakest of beach breaks by decreasing drag and increasing speed which is the key to this little pocket rocket. The medium to low rail helps to draw out turns and control speed which the Black Bean has in spades!

The flat entry rocker enables instant acceleration when combined with a single to double concave allowing full control at speed, the subtle diamond tail provides multiple pivot points for turning in the most critical sections of dumpy little shore breaks. For experienced surfers ride this little whip 1 or 2 litres in volume above your standard short board or for the intermediate surfers go up 6 to 8 litres and take full advantage of the paddle power and stability.

XEPS Boards are constructed using a 36gram EPS core with a high-grade timber stringer, each board is hand laminated using Epoxy Resign and High Grade Fibreglass providing a lighter, stronger board that feels fast and responsive under your feet increasing performance in a wide variety of conditions!

Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam is very light and strong. EPS foam has more buoyancy and floatation increasing paddling speed and manoeuvrability

Epoxy Resin is a healthier alternative to polyester as epoxy emits 50-75% fewer VOCs,  decreasing the amount of harmful chemicals released into the environment.

  • The Black Panda is a feature packed groveller which absolutely flies down the line and can be turned on a dime.

It has lot of available volume squeezed into a small board to keep the foam both under your chest and feet. The outline is wide which is offset by a flyer by the fins that keeps the tail width more refined. The tail is the often overlooked diamond tail, which has the benefits of the bite of a swallow tail with the hold and control of a rounded pin tail and perfectly sets up the the water flow of the bottom contours. The Black Panda has a soft channel that runs right through the centre of the board and feeds water to the fins, this gets it up and running really quickly and when put on rail feels like it is on tracks.

The Black Panda, being a groveller, is best ridden with one or two litres more than your shortboard. Summer surfs and lousy looking waves will never look more fun than with a Black Panda in the quiver.”

  • Aloha X Lopez New Fish XE- Clear

"I love this design. The new fish helped me solve a major hangup I was having with original fish designs- the swallowtails.

I only like a swallow tail if it is built as a quad for fast pointbreaks or with a tiny swallow on a twin with a trailer for mushy beachbreaks . Neither of those are tbest suites for today’s surfing, or geared geared towards how I like to ride and shape surfboards. My goal when shaping is to make the experience as fun and easy as possible. Allowing you to surf better and more."

This new fish with a clean curve through the tail and pulled in squash is best surfed with your normal thruster setup. If you want to ride fast and free in small surf, go a size smaller with the fins. Want to challenge yourself to take off steep and deep in super sucked out hollow tubes, go a size larger and hold on. This board flies. For top speed and quickness. There’s nothing faster on the water than the New Fish.

  • Aloha X Wood Twin-D XE - Clear

The Twin-D is a performance twin fin with trailer, slightly pulled in nose with a straight tail outline which allows the board to cross over from flat faced beach breaks into more curvy better quality point break waves without much adjustment in foot/body positioning.

With a little more volume distributed toward the nose, low entry rocker that transitions into a flat tail rocker ensures that your wave count is always high as paddling and catching waves isn’t a problem! The bottom has a deep double concave starting under front foot which goes all the way through to the tail.

A key design feature of the Twin-D that Woody has adopted from his apprenticeship with shaping legend Chris Brock has the apex of the double concave sitting lower in the water than the bottom edge of the rail. This design element allows the board to transition from rail to rail very easily. This design feature is visible on a lot of the Webber designs and the latest incarnation of this design was on the Webber Creature model although the Twin D is a lot more subtle than the dramatic curves of Greg Webber.

The Twin-D is perfect for smooth flowing surfing in a super wide variety of conditions.

  • Aloha X Lopez H2 XE - Clear

"The Aloha H2, like all the designs I’m working with, was created through building surfboards for my friends to have more fun on" - Shea Lopez

The H2 is an original concept dreamt up to skate across flat sections with a low rocker and fuller outline upfront that creates speed quickly and efficiently. While the back end of the H2 pulls in nicely with moderate tail rocker and a rounded squash. Similar in design to a small wave shortbaord.

This tail allows for freedom of movement in steep sections with all that speed you’ve generated. The H2 is like that classic skateboard with soft wheels that rides smooth and does what you ask of it when you need it most.

  • Aloha Keel Twin Futures Eco

This little fish is short, wide and thick with a flat rocker principle for lots of fun plaining speed perfect for smaller waves. However, these boards can be extremely fun and functional in good quality waves and waves of size.

The classic twin keel fish was developed in the mid 70’s as a knee board by Steve Lis. Pintail surfboards were a favourite of his, but his swim fins would hang over the side creating drag. He decided to split the tail, giving him the width needed to support his fins, while still holding on to the performance characteristics of a pintail. This fish proved to be a barrel machine, able to paddle in early, take fairly late drops, hold high and tight in the pocket and was snappy off the top. It wasn’t long until he had refined the design to suit stand up surfers, and the fish design took off.
