  • The Black Panda is a feature packed groveller which absolutely flies down the line and can be turned on a dime.

It has lot of available volume squeezed into a small board to keep the foam both under your chest and feet. The outline is wide which is offset by a flyer by the fins that keeps the tail width more refined. The tail is the often overlooked diamond tail, which has the benefits of the bite of a swallow tail with the hold and control of a rounded pin tail and perfectly sets up the the water flow of the bottom contours. The Black Panda has a soft channel that runs right through the centre of the board and feeds water to the fins, this gets it up and running really quickly and when put on rail feels like it is on tracks.

The Black Panda, being a groveller, is best ridden with one or two litres more than your shortboard. Summer surfs and lousy looking waves will never look more fun than with a Black Panda in the quiver.”

  • Aloha X Lopez H2 XE - Clear

"The Aloha H2, like all the designs I’m working with, was created through building surfboards for my friends to have more fun on" - Shea Lopez

The H2 is an original concept dreamt up to skate across flat sections with a low rocker and fuller outline upfront that creates speed quickly and efficiently. While the back end of the H2 pulls in nicely with moderate tail rocker and a rounded squash. Similar in design to a small wave shortbaord.

This tail allows for freedom of movement in steep sections with all that speed you’ve generated. The H2 is like that classic skateboard with soft wheels that rides smooth and does what you ask of it when you need it most.

  • Aloha Keel Twin Futures Eco

This little fish is short, wide and thick with a flat rocker principle for lots of fun plaining speed perfect for smaller waves. However, these boards can be extremely fun and functional in good quality waves and waves of size.

The classic twin keel fish was developed in the mid 70’s as a knee board by Steve Lis. Pintail surfboards were a favourite of his, but his swim fins would hang over the side creating drag. He decided to split the tail, giving him the width needed to support his fins, while still holding on to the performance characteristics of a pintail. This fish proved to be a barrel machine, able to paddle in early, take fairly late drops, hold high and tight in the pocket and was snappy off the top. It wasn’t long until he had refined the design to suit stand up surfers, and the fish design took off.

    ECOSKIN TECH:

Aloha Surfboards ECOSKIN Technology is a small step toward producing surfboards that are manufactured with more Earth Friendly ethics.

Paulownia timber is perfectly suited as a sustainable alternative in surfboard production due to it's naturally high strength to weight ratio! One of the fastest growing trees in the world Paulownia production places less stress on the environment saving water and natural resources!

Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam is very light and strong. EPS foam has more buoyancy and flotation increasing paddling speed and maneuverability.

Epoxy Resin is a healthier alternative to polyester as epoxy emits 50-75% fewer VOCs, decreasing the amount of harmful chemicals released into the environment.

ECOSKIN Surfboards are utilising less toxic materials during production and through these measures we are taking steps to decrease our carbon foot print.

Paulownia is one of the fastest growing trees in the world, capable of growth rates of well over seven feet per year! Paulownia timber is perfectly suited as a sustainable alternative in surfboard production due to its lightweight and proportionately natural strength characteristics.
Some species of plantation Paulownia can be harvested for saw timber in as little as five years.
Once Paulownia trees are harvested, they regenerate from their existing root systems, earning them the name of the “Phoenix tree”.
