FCS II Mason Ho Signature Fin
Mason Ho's Signature fin. Welcome to Mason's world, and welcome to Mason's new fin.
Overview
Mase is calling this his new magic fin!
The new Mason Ho signature fin is a mashup of different templates. We took influences from Kelly Slater's original K-3 and Mick Fanning's signature templates, then reworked the flex, foil and tip profile based on extensive testing and feedback from Mason himself.
This might just be the fin to rule them all...Sitting in the Accelerator Family, this all-purpose, all-conditions fin will feel steady when driving into a turn, and fast and loose off the top. Explosive is another word to describe how this fin responds, and in this case, the personality of the M.Ho fin totally matches the creator and rider. Fast, Loose & Fun!
Mason's fin features a bevelled leading edge which allows for silky smooth transitions between turns. Performance Core + AirCore construction makes the fin a touch lighter, the flex a little stiffer and overall more reactive compared to standard PC construction, which is again suited to Mason's punk style of surfing.
This fin had a long development runway. Mason was after one fin he could use in his small wave rock-hopping fun boards right through to his big wave pipe guns, and it wasn't until he was totally satisfied that we pulled the trigger.
Welcome to Mason's world, welcome to Mason's new fin.
"The fins have been all time!!! Got some crazy waves at Ala Moana and got to push them hard as I could in the big bowl on some turns; full control off the bottom and nice and loose off the top.
