The essential wetsuit for chilly water in summer sessions! The Picture Equation range features the best insulating technologies to keep you warm.
Equation wetsuits are made with Eicoprene which is a non-petroleum-based synthetic foam coming from a mix of limestone and recycled tires (30%). The lamination process to paste the recycled polyester lining uses Aqua-A™ water-based glue which is completely solvent-free and with no harmful chemicals.
The equation 4/3 version is designed for your sessions in cooler water (52-63 °F). This wetsuit stands out thanks to its WPF lining (Warmth Performance) that is our warmest wetsuit lining. Built using a 3D-Knit construction, the WPF lining provides warmth by trapping air between each loop. The denser fabric provides extra comfort. Its front zip and watertight seals minimalize water entry. Comfort zones protect your ribs when paddling. It also features glued then blind-stitched fully taped seams (GBS) which gives protection, stretch and water resistance.

Eco Carbon Black
Carbon Black is one of the key ingredients in neoprene. It can now be carbonized from scrap rubber tyres using high heat to extract.

To save tremendous amounts of water whilst also reducing energy consumption and water pollution, O’Neill use a dope dyeing process that infuses colour pigment into the fibre filaments before being spun into yarn.
Limestone neoprene
O’Neill has used limestone since 1996 to replace petrochemicals in neoprene. Limestone comes from nature and has less environmental impact.
Aqua Alpha Solvent Free Lamination
O’Neill worked with key a manufacturing partner to develop a non-solvent based lamination glue called Aqua-Alpha which bonds the wetsuit’s lining to the internal foam layer
