Description
Now available in our Epoxy Soft construction for more fun. This 2nd iteration of the Highline sees the plan shape and the rocker maintained from the original version.The update features a dramatically tweaked bottom contour that has a small amount of Vee upfront then a noticeable double concave with a lot of Vee between the fins. The Modern Highline was primarily designed as a transition board for those coming off a high volume softboard wanting to ride a smaller board. It has become so much more by dramatically increasing your wave count it in turn increases your confidence and with the updated bottom contour it increases the ease of turning the board.

Construction: Soft Shell (Soft)
Boards with Soft Shell construction feature much more technology then the eye can see. They are a combination of materials designed to allow the board to perform to the highest levels given the constraints of the flexibility of the materials. All boards feature an integrated Fin System, 2 or 3 Wooden Stringers depending on the size of the board to ensure the board is stiff enough. A lightweight EPS core combined with a PE foam layer on the deck and a High-Density PE Slick that is mounted to a thin PE Foam layer on the bottom give the board an awesome feel in the water. Soft enough not to hurt should you fall on it but hard enough to handle the power of the waves.- Board Contours: Flat Bottom

The Mick Fanning Cat Fish is fast and super fun! Inspired by the speed and flow of boards from the experimental 1970’s where there were no rules!
This hybrid design has a slightly decreased nose area when compared to a standard keel or quad fish, the bottom is designed to increase water flow under the front foot and then release it with ease through the fins and tail. The result is fast acceleration with drive out of turns.
This design is a response to wanting to have a softboard in the quiver that will surf in a more diverse range of conditions, you won’t need tp reach for the standard shortboard until the waves are head high.
