Description
Small but mighty, don’t underestimate the power of the Scorpion 2. Donald wanted to make a wider tail, narrower nose and more rounded out version of the popular Scorpion model. This allows the surfer to go a little shorter in board length and can sport multiple fin combinations. This board excels in small California style surf to well overhead island style barrels.
Softop Extra-Soft is Surftech's highest performance softop technology. It rides and feels just like a hand glass board but has the comfort and forgiveness of a full soft EVA deck and rails. The hard, protective ASA bottom not only makes the board more ding resistant but it molds to the exact bottom contours from the shapers design, keeping all the essential elements exactly how they were intended.

SHELL: Thick Polyethylene deck and a soft slick skin on the bottom is super durable, yet soft enough to keep beginners safe.CORE: Expanded polystyrene core with internal stringer system. Other softboard surfboards can over flex, but the integrity of the rocker is maintained in the Dune Buggy bringing the feel closer to a traditional fiberglass surfboard.

Boards with Soft Shell construction feature much more technology then the eye can see. They are a combination of materials designed to allow the board to perform to the highest levels given the constraints of the flexibility of the materials. Modern Highline 2.0 Epoxy Soft Surfboard 5'9"
Now available in our Epoxy Soft construction for more fun. This 2nd iteration of the Highline sees the plan shape and the rocker maintained from the original version.The update features a dramatically tweaked bottom contour that has a small amount of Vee upfront then a noticeable double concave with a lot of Vee between the fins.
The Modern Highline was primarily designed as a transition board for those coming off a high volume softboard wanting to ride a smaller board.
