Modern longboarding has a variety of skill and style that is hard to compare in any other sport. Depending on the surfer, or the wave, or the board, it can be a dance or a martial art. It can be light footed poise or powerful drive, straight line trim or vertical snaps, nose rides or carves. A true modern high performance longboard has to be capable of all of these things.
Torq Tec's The Don range has 3 models which fill all of these needs – The Don is stable on the nose, straight and fast through the middle and lively in the tail. The HP model is a finer turned race car, but capable on the nose. The XL is higher volumed and nose oriented but still super responsive in the tail. The added advantage of the Torq TEC construction; lightweight, strong and super responsive makes the wide repertoire of moves easier and more dynamic.
In Torq Tec's the Don all round longboard series, the HP model is the high performance model; a fine turned race car. It has a slimmed down outline and foil, lower rails and slightly more rocker making this a razor sharp blade for dynamic modern longboarding. Still capable on the nose when the right section stands up, the Don HP is a board for experienced longboarders to switch up to beast mode.
The combination of high performance shape and our lightweight cutting edge TEC construction creates a board that will surprise you with it’s performance and versatility.

Paulownia is one of the fastest growing trees in the world, capable of growth rates of well over seven feet per year! Paulownia timber is perfectly suited as a sustainable alternative in surfboard production due to its lightweight and proportionately natural strength characteristics.
Some species of plantation Paulownia can be harvested for saw timber in as little as five years.
Once Paulownia trees are harvested, they regenerate from their existing root systems, earning them the name of the “Phoenix tree”.

NSP Shapers Union Pro 9'1"
The NSP Pro-9 is designed by Carl Schaper as a performance longboard, and it is Bonga Perkins’ favorite all-around board. For over 20 years now, former 2-time World Champion Bonga has been riding slight variations of this shape. The most significant improvement is in the Pro-9’s nose riding capability.
The Pro-9, designed as a single fin or quad fin set-up, is a low-volume, extremely high-performance longboard, capable of doing it all with tons of maneuvering and solid nose-riding.The 4oz fin patch, a 6mm wood stringer, bottom carbon stringer and carbon-reinforced tail, give you a durable longboard with great flex and performance, that feels light and responsive.

The Pro-9 is a longboard with as much shortboard crammed into it as possible. Carl Schaper will often point out the back-third of the board, as it fits almost perfectly on his 6’2 step up, with the same thickness, tail dimensions and rails. The bottom has a soft roll to V in the middle, running into V with a double concave in the tail. For lengths of 8'6 and over we have introduced a T-stringer and carbon stringer to the deck and bottom for a new level of torsional strength. The torq longboard technology is incredibly strong, light and responsive.

Walden Magic Wahine Fusion HD - 8'6"
Walden Surfboards was the first company to design an entire line of surfboards just for women called Walden Wahine, they didn't just add a token pink surfboard to the existing men's line but rather they created an entire range of surfboards for the full range of women surfers. We slimmed out the dimensions and made a slightly narrower Magic Model, we kept all the performance but sized the boards especially for women...oh yeah, and made them really beautiful.
About out Magic Model:
The Magic Model is the original modern longboard, an all around performance surfboard and nose rider. The Magic Model is designed for all wave heights and all skill levels, just as fun in small surf as it is in big surf. The Magic Model hull has a unique design, so unique it has a patent. Starting at the nose the hull has a single concave that transitions into a double concave about midway through the board and ends towards the tail forming a moderate “V” for fluid rail to rail transitions. The Magic Model rails have a hard edge from nose to tail, unlike round railed boards which push through water and allow water to wrap around the board slowing it down, the Magic's hard rails glide on top the water creating a sensitivity and quickness that makes the board fast and easy to turn. Alain Minvielle has extensive shaping experience in California and a fine appreciation for the flow and glide of the classic style. With Edouard’s input they have created a Classic shape inspired by the classic 60’s model of Longboarding (no edge) while adding some more modern bottom line to find the perfect cruiser with surprising manœuvrability.
The critical part of this design is in the rocker and volume distribution - the curve of the rocker will allow you to maintain noserides in the pocket while gliding in small conditions as much as in larger waves. Finally the unique distribution of volume through the board, from a thick nose to a thin tail, will allow you to cross step with grace and turn with ease.
