The AM3 Honeycomb designed by legendary shaper Al Merrick of Channel Islands Surfboards, is a small size thruster in the Rake template category. Intended for lightweight surfers to perform in all conditions, the honeycomb construction offers a balanced flex pattern. The template's extended rake is ideal for powerful carves and the thin tip provides for optimal release off of the top.

Futures Ando Blackstix, designed by modern style guru Craig Anderson, is a large size Speed Generating fin with a Ride Number of 9.8. When tasked with the challenge of making Craig a signature fin we knew the speed generating characteristics of our Blackstix line would suit his effortless style perfectly. Carbon fiber in all the right places combined with our V2 foil allow him to easily create speed for big maneuvers on the face or in the air.

Futures Alpha Quad Rear 3.75 Fin
The QD2 3.75 Alpha is a small size Balanced quad rear with a Ride Number of 6.5. Alpha's C6 composite material is carbon and air infused making it lighter than Honeycomb. The responsive flex characteristics of C6 combine with the neutral QD2 template and symetrical foil make this set ideal for pairing with your favorite front fins, creating the ideal Quad option. All Alpha products are designed and manufactured exclusively in Huntington Beach, California.

Made in California, Futures Alpha product line is now made by incorporating Bureo’s NetPlus recycled fishing nets with Futures’ compound 6 Carbon and Air infused technology. NetPlus material is sourced from Bureo’s fishing net recycling program in Chile, which provides collection points to keep plastic fishing nets out of our oceans. Preventing harmful materials from entering the ocean, their program protects wildlife and supports local fishing communities through financial incentives.

Futures Freestone Thruster Control
The Futures Freestone Control fin is a large size Speed Controlling fin with a Ride Number of 3.3. Jack rides this fin when the conditions are punchy and he needs a little more stability. Controlling speed is the key to survival in heavier surf. They are built from solid fiberglass panels with foils that are precision cut by CNC, then hand finished to perfection.

The QD2 4" Alpha is a medium sized quad rear with a symmetrical foil. Made in Huntington Beach, the Alpha product line now combines Bureo’s NetPlus recycled fishing nets with Futures’ Compound 6 carbon and air infused technology, offering stability and control at top speed. This pair of Quad Rears can be combined with any Futures front fins to suit your riding preference, board design and waves. They will favor boards that have the rear boxes set off the rail, closer to the stringer.

The Timmy Patterson Twin was brought back to life from an original glass-on template Timmy created over a decade ago. The idea was to take the surface area of a big keel, with the intention of surfing more progressively with an upright performance feel. The base dims of the fin are very similar to the overall height of the template. This keeps the drive and release of the template very balanced. This will give you fast down the line speed, all while remaining maneuverable and engaged through your turns. Designed to be ridden as a true twin, but works equally as well with a small stabilizing center fin if you have thruster box placement in your performance twin fin.

The John John Florence Signature Scimitar thruster in Vapor Core construction is designed for performance surfing in small waves. John rides this fin when he needs to generate speed when the waves are small and lack power. These fins feature a full Vector foil, helping enhance lift and generate speed. The Scimitar Tip is represented by the cut-off portion of the fin, tailoring the grip characteristics. Vapor Core is the lightest performance fin construction ever, consisting of a hollow core.
