Once Paulownia trees are harvested, they regenerate from their existing root systems, earning them the name of the “Phoenix tree”.

Performance minimal’s are one of the funnest, most versatile boards you can own. Great for first waves, perfect for gliding small clean waves and with the paddle and pick up for larger or junkier surf.
Usually a performance minimal comes at a cost; the size of the board means to make it lightweight they are inherently weak and lose their responsive feel quickly or simply break. With the Torq TEC construction you get a lightweight board with all the strength of a much heavier one and much more responsivity.
Our combination of carbon strips on the top and bottom make these boards super lively and surf a lot shorter than their length.

Walden Surfboards was the first company to design an entire line of surfboards just for women called Walden Wahine, they didn't just add a token pink surfboard to the existing men's line but rather they created an entire range of surfboards for the full range of women surfers. We slimmed out the dimensions and made a slightly narrower Magic Model, we kept all the performance but sized the boards especially for women...oh yeah, and made them really beautiful.
About out Magic Model:
The Magic Model is the original modern longboard, an all around performance surfboard and nose rider. The Magic Model is designed for all wave heights and all skill levels, just as fun in small surf as it is in big surf. The Magic Model hull has a unique design, so unique it has a patent. Starting at the nose the hull has a single concave that transitions into a double concave about midway through the board and ends towards the tail forming a moderate “V” for fluid rail to rail transitions. The 24/7 is the go to, all round longboard design for every day of the week. It’s a board you can put in the van without checking the webcams; from kneehigh to overhead, for noseriding, cruising or turns, it works.
Shape wise, the 24/7 sits right in the middle between the nose riders and pro performers – a balanced outline with nose width for nose rides, a straight middle section for trim and a pulled in tail for turns and control in the pocket. The rocker matches the outline – low entry for stability, flat middle for speed and a flip in the tail for turns. There’s a good volume for max paddling, with a foiled rail through the fins and at the tail.
