Torq Tec Big Boy 7'2"
Torq Tec Big Boy 23
This is a funboard on steroids! For this concept Torq used the overall plan shape of a minimal/funboard and boosted the width and volume along the length and foil. The result is a manageable, easy turning length with the paddle and float of a much larger board.
For improving surfers, this offers stability, paddle power and wave catching ability. For heavier surfers you'll find the float you need in a much shorter length. The single to double concave means you can still put this board on a rail.
With 5 Futures fin boxes, the BigBoy 23 can be ridden as Quad or Thruster.
Dimensions:
6'10 x 22 1/2 x 2 7/8 49.1 l

7'6 x 23 x 3 57.5 l
Technology:
Since 2012 Torq have developed a name for industry leading Epoxy technology, offering performance and durability for the premium recreational surfer. By using optimised techniques widely used in composite technologies the TEC range takes that one step further; creating a board with an incredible strength to weight ratio and torsional flex properties.
The Torq Epoxy Composite (TEC) uses a 3 x 6oz lay-up and carbon fibre tail reinforcement on the deck for maximum strength. The bottom features a carbon torsion strip to control flex and give a responsive spring from turns.
This ground breaking technology has been applied to our user friendly performance shapes used in the Torq PU/Polyester range, to produce a truly high performance range of surfboards with unrivalled durability.

Creative Army Jumbo Jet SLX
Check out these real-life scenarios: You feel under volumed and the struggle of paddling is real. You catch the wave but the surfboard so unstable you can't get to your feet. Your home break is weak and small most of the time. You are a big human that can still surf really well but there's not a surfboard out there that has enough foam/volume for you. If you are relating to any of these scenarios then the Jumbo Jet is here to get you fully stoked.
The Jumbo Jet has a 2 + 1 fin set up that turns easily thanks to the smooth lines of the round tail. Complimented by a tucked edge in the tail and modern rocker the Jumbo Jet accommodates the surfer that wants to go down the line, hit the section, and move the board where ever it needs to go.
Throw in a little nose concave to help create lift for those heavier surfers allowing them to nose ride like a champ. The Jumbo Jet goes well in all conditions from small crappy beach breaks to beautiful points and steeper more challenging waves.
The shorter versions of the Jumbo Jet (7'2 and 8’0) will work a treat, they’re like the 'big guys' shortboard. These boards are for anyone that needs a little bit of help increasing their wave count. The extra volume allows you to paddle with ease, get in early, and give you more time to get to your feet. I'm so stoked on this board it's got my Dad back in the water in his Mid 60's after 10 years out due to injuries and it has got him frothing. Hope you get the same stoke.

MCCOY
“This design is the first Nugget I shaped in 1994.
Proven to be a very versatile performer in a wide range of wave conditions from 1′ ~ 8′ all around the surfing world; thicker wider and shorter with more volume and buoyancy than you have had before, easy to paddle and catch waves, easy to control, with more speed than you have had in years! When it starts to barrel, you will be laughing.” Geoff McCoy
Biaxial Fibre Glass has about half of its fibres aligned along the length of the cloth (0 degrees) and about half across the cloth (90 degrees) lending itself as a perfect option for creating a controlled flex pattern.Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam is a version of polystyrene foam typically found in the core of Firewire surfboards. EPS is typically the lightest of the three foams used in surfboard construction resulting in a much lighter board translating to increased buoyancy and floatation. Basically the lowest density or lightest board will float you the best! The advantage of better buoyancy is added paddling speed and increased manoeuvrability allowing you to ride a smaller board. EPS foam core is also less likely to deteriorate over time!
Epoxy Resin is a healthier alternative to polyester as epoxy emits 50-75% fewer VOCs (volatile organic compounds) than polyester resin, which means a decrease in harmful chemicals in the shop and the environment in general. In fact, epoxy is a common household item, safe to use without a mask and with only moderate ventilation. Epoxy is lighter than polyester. Under most circumstances, resin makes up a large part of a completed board’s overall weight. Not only is epoxy lighter than polyester, but less is needed per coat. This ends up meaning a lighter surfboard – a big plus for most surfers. The biggest bonus However is the durability and strength of epoxy resin.
All XF boards are constructed using a 36gram EPS core with a high-grade timber stringer, each board is hand laminated using epoxy resign and biaxial fibreglass on the deck providing a lighter, stronger board that feels fast and responsive under your feet increasing performance in a wide variety of conditions!

Torq Tec Rusty Egg Not - White
Simply put, the Egg Not is a squash tail version of our mid-length board, the eGG. With the increasing popularity of mid-lengths, we decided it was more or less a given that we offer a squash tail mid-length board. The Squash tail adds a little more area, lengthens the rail line, and has a more pivoty feel compared to a roundtail. The Egg Not is a great board to have in your quiver. When the surf is average, you’ll have plenty of wave catching ability and it will carry through sections but the board will still be loose enough to turn with ease. As a plus, when the surf gets a bit bigger, it still works surprisingly well! The Egg Not features a relaxed rocker on the front end of the board which helps with paddle speed, wave catching, and overall glide. The curve is a bit above average which translates to helping tighten the arc of your turns without giving up speed. The thickness of the board is a little on the thin side for a board this size. These leaner rails make the board easier to put in the water and also helps it hold better in bigger surf. Fin setup here is your call. For a higher performance feel we recommend a 4-fin setup. If you’re looking for something a little cruisier or more traditional feel do a 2 plus one setup.

Torq Epoxy Composite offers performance shapes in our state-of-the-art epoxy layup. These boards have the best balance of Lightweight versus Durability. Using our own unique lamination process, we are able to use a very strong fiberglass lay-up of 6oz and 4oz combined in 3 layered deck and 2 layered base (with a 4 layered rail lap) with a high density EPS foam, but still achieve a board weight that matches a lightweight fiberglass lay-up.
The result is light but very strong board, with good flex characteristics and as with all torq's, excellent value for money.
The TEC shortboards have 2 full layers of fiber over the deck and bottom. On the deck we use an extra 6oz deck patch with gives triple layer ding resistance, but doesn't resist the flex along the rail. The addition of a carbon filament stringer and UD carbon twin strips on the base makes these super springy and responsive.
