OUTLINE: Classified as a fun shape, the outline is full and generous from nose to tail providing maximum stability on small to medium size waves. The Modern Falcon is now available in TMRW TECH construction - blending mid-length versatility with materials engineered to tread lighter on the planet. This board features a durable, flexible 100% recycled TPU outer shell, a shaped core wrapped in fiberglass and bio-epoxy resin. It rides with the familiar flow and responsiveness of traditional PU, but it’s built to handle the knocks and pressures that often sideline other boards. The result is a longer-lasting board that stays in your quiver and out of the landfill. Even the fin boxes and leash plug are made from recycled plastic and the entire board is precision-molded to minimise waste.

The Falcon’s smooth outline, fuller nose, and balanced rocker make it a go-to option across a wide range of conditions. Ideal for surfers stepping down from a longboard or those looking to add glide and stability to their quiver as they progress to an intermediate level. It paddles easily, trims effortlessly and responds when it’s time to draw clean, carving turns.

OUTLINE: The wide point is forward to enhance trim stability from a central stance position, and the streamlined nose gives the outline a contemporary vibe. The back half of the board tapers steadily towards the tail for easier turning in smaller waves, and to heighten control in slightly larger waves.

CONTOURS: The rocker strikes a balance between paddle speed and just enough nose/tail lift for accessing steeper parts of the wave. Forward vee running to vee/double concave between the feet allows for very smooth rail transitions and a responsive feel when standing further back.

FOIL: Designed with plenty of volume through the spine for appropriate buoyancy and stability. The taper at the tips provides better performance sensitivity when riding on the wave face.

PERFORMANCE: The dual-purpose nature of the Falcon offers a stable and cruisy ride for surfers coming off a softboard or bigger longboard. Alternatively, more capable riders will find a surprising amount of speed a response when adopting a more aggressive approach.

This is a funboard on steroids! For this concept Torq used the overall plan shape of a minimal/funboard and boosted the width and volume along the length and foil. The result is a manageable, easy turning length with the paddle and float of a much larger board.

For improving surfers, this offers stability, paddle power and wave catching ability. For heavier surfers you'll find the float you need in a much shorter length. The single to double concave means you can still put this board on a rail.

The Torq Epoxy Composite (TEC) uses a 3 x 6oz lay-up and carbon fibre tail reinforcement on the deck for maximum strength. The bottom features a carbon torsion strip to control flex and give a responsive spring from turns.
This ground breaking technology has been applied to our user friendly performance shapes used in the Torq PU/Polyester range, to produce a truly high performance range of surfboards with unrivalled durability.

Torq Tec M2 - 7'6"

This is a funboard on steroids! For this concept we’ve used the overall plan shape of a minimal/funboard and boosted the width and volume along the length and foil. The result is a manageable, easy turning length with the paddle and float of a much larger board.

For improving surfers, this offers stability, paddle power and wave catching ability. For heavier surfers you’ll find the float you need in a much shorter length.  The single to double concave means you can still put this board on a rail.

With 5 Futures fin boxes, the BigBoy 23 can be ridden as Quad or Thruster.

Torq x Channel Islands  Chancho 7'6 X-Lite 

Whether new to surfing or just looking to enjoy a cruisy session, the all-new Torq Chancho is a super user-friendly, stable board that catches waves with ease. The Chancho boasts generous volume for its mid length size, and features low nose rocker for early wave entry. Its subtle vee-bottom contours that run through the fins help it turn effortlessly.

This is lighter, stronger and more Eco than a traditional PU/Polyester board, now with a 50% thinner Shield Skin for weight reduction. This innovative technology is used exclusively on the X-Lite Channel Islands models; the best selling Pod Mod and all new Chancho.

The Pod Mod features an Impact Mesh layer on the deck for strength and ding resistance, the Chancho features a Carbon Strip on the deck for longitudinal strength and responsiveness.
